Jesus at the Heart of all that we do.

The School Day

The school day begins at 8.55am and parents are asked to bring their children to the school playground in good time in order to assist a prompt registration and start to the school day. Children are able to enter their classrooms from 8.45am. Registration will finish at 9.05 a.m and any pupils arriving after 8:55 am must please report to the office as outside doors will be closed at 8:55 am. If parents have to collect their child for any reason, they are expected to report to the office to sign their child out.

At Sacred Heart Primary School, we believe registration is a time for the class teacher to take responsibility for the whole class. During this time pupils will follow a set routine and then begin lessons. If parents need to address a concern or speak to the teacher about a particular matter please arrange a convenient after school appointment with the class teacher or request an appointment via the office. Your consideration and support in this important matter is very much appreciated.

Parking in Langford Drive is very limited and parents are advised to use the car park attached to the Church and then walk through the KS2 School grounds. As the Langford Drive entrance is so restricted and in order to comply with health and safety guidelines, parents are asked not to drive into the school grounds except by prior arrangement.

The school day finishes at 3.30 pm and parents are asked to collect their children promptly.
