We are busy preparing for Christmas as we journey through Advent we are focusing on the Advent message of hope. Mrs Hannigan has created this wonderful cross to help us with our Advent meditations. During these uncertain times we have been working with the children to develop positivity skills, communicating hope for and the belief in a better future. We have been encouraging them to look out for sign's of God's constant presence in their life and in our world: in nature; in the smile of a relative;in the kindness of a stranger. To listen out for God's voice in the encouraging words of a friend; in the lyrics of an inspiration song; in scripture or a prayer. If you look at the Advent Reflection attached to our December newsletter you will be able to explore this Advent message of hope further.
To help spread this hope parents and children have donated new toys for the Salvation Army Appeal and gifts for Noah Advent Appeal. As always they have been very generous.
